The gangway is designed for installation on single-deck and double-deck passenger cars of locomotive traction, with a design speed of up to 200 km/h, equipped with various types of coupling devices (both backlash-free BSU type and SA-3 automatic coupler).
The gangway consists of two semi-transitions with closed insulating shells interconnected by frames. The position of the frames is provided by a suspension – rods, which are attached with brackets to the car body.
The gangway is installed on the wagon without support on the coupling device.
